The New Kingdoms United was the first nation formed after The Collision. As many were fighting out there for land and resources, there was one building that was protected by a small band of refugees who colonized the area from the catastrophe. This building was a library, and it was massive. The ones who would protect this library did nothing but collect books and they would risk their lives for this building in small battles agaisnt bigger groups of refugees. They called themselves the Last Scholars of the New World.
The LSNW did well at protecting the area until one night, in May of 3980, a raid was formed from the survivors of previous rivalry groups had banded together in an attempt to seize the library. The battle would wage on for nearly a fortnight as the LSNW was pushed back by the enemy forces into the library where the last battle would take place as all remaining 2000 LSNWs would take on the enemy forces while still within the library; the battle was known as "The 1:10". In probably one of the biggest sweeps in the history of Terra, as the LSNW took out nearly 20,000 enemy troops. The enemy would pull back and the LSNW reclaimed their land.
There were many attempts to attack the building with bombs and others with chemical warfare tactics but all would be futile. With the vast knowledge obatained from the books within the library the LSNW would prepare themselves for battles. Using old military tactics from the Romans, Africans, and even the Germans to completely obliterate their foes. They would counter with methods and formations that were completely foriegn to their enemies that they would become completely unmatched. They named this library, The Stronghold.
More time would pass as they reached the 4000's and the battles ended with the foriegn refugees who were not apart of the LSNW. However as many LSNW would advance their way up north there was almost a civil war between the countries of the south and those of the north as to who would have the control over Stronghold. The LSNW soon disbanded. This lead to small disputes as the leaders from both sides decided to hold a meeting that would determine if there would have to be a war or not. In a two day meeting a verdict was formed with a shocking result as the leaders decided to go with a treaty. About a decade after the treaty, the countries were completely intergrated as they would soon be known as the New Kingdoms.
The newfound Nation's focus had shifted from military tactics to education and embracing cultural differences. The nation soon disbanded their military after the Great Nations War as they saw no need for it and instead put all military funding towards expanding on the books within the stronghold which carry some of the few titles you can only get on paperback. Building on their educational empire, the New Kingdoms became the world's leader in information and culture.
