With the old continents of North and South America crashing into one another, the people from each fell into panic. The United States lost its entire Eastren half, South America lost the majority of Brazil, and Canada had only been cut down to the west side. With such a major lost from all nations the borders all went down. All the borders went down as countries shockingly banded together in Washington, in what is now known as New York, as they decided that an alliance woud have to be made for any one nation to survive; they would put the past behind.
In a epic plan called the Young System ,named after scientific theorist named John Young who made the plan, the nation boomed into the Great Industrialization Era. The plan was to have all the nations combine their resource and skills to form a land of great industrialization. All their skills together would crush anyone even trying to compete in their field. Soon robots were introduced in New Asia and immediately the Alliance would put them to work as large shipments came in.
As their nation grew the Alliance led in construction, craftsmanship, and industrilization. Before they built the Empire Stratosphere Tower, their capital building was constructed which was named Ion. When the people were asked why the name Ion the men at the time would say in honor of John Young who described the country as an ion.
"An ion is an electricly charged atom, correct? That's what I see when I see the Young Plan in action. This land is the ion as it's all charged up and ready to go. Like anions and cations, things can be positive and negative, but we'll always stay charged and ready." - John Young
The Alliance has been the only known nation to not have a major dispute recorded. Thanks to the Great Industrialization Era, the Alliance had sent materials that would help build Terra up to what it is now. The buildings and the way they are crafted are said to be able to help Terra prepare for another possible Collision.
The islands of Terra are American territories as they are pieces of land that remained that didn't connect to the rest of the nation.
