History of the Races
In Terra there are various race/classes. Some race/classes have been around for a few thousand years, some have yet to exist for a decade. These classes/races are what make up Terra what it is today. Some have been through a lot. Others have come from major events. Regardless to how they got here these are important parts of Terran history.
Robots
Robots were crafted first in New Asia in the 4000's. They existed in the beginning of their days solely to help aid humans in test, studies, and just everyday task that humans would have difficulties doing. Then the Great Industrialization Era occurred and the Americas began taking in large shipments of the robots to help with the rush of activity and ease the workload.
With such a heavy workload the robots were almost disposed of daily; hundreds of robots. There were large piles of scrap from the old bodies of the robots that it sparked an outrage with the New Asians who stopped shipments from the Americas. The few robots that remained had soon began to reach their limits as the engineers in the Americas had attempted to build robots of their own from the scraps and send them into the field, but they would prove to be futile in the long-run.
New Asia didn't like this and soon robots were programmed with what will soon be known as artificial intelligence chips. With this free-will the Alliance streets were soon flooded as robots marched down miles from New Asia to claim to be treated fairly. The Alliance factory owners did not want to acknowledge robots as nothing more than tools because that is what they were originally were built for. It was until a John Young's son Jacobe Young spoke up as he formed a bond with a robot named A.I.D.E.N. (Artificial Intelligent Drone for Equality Now) that the world took notice of robotic and human rights. For weeks, people and machines would peacefully protest in front of large factories and boycott their business until finally Xavier Maximus Jr. passed the RDIR (Robotic Declaration of Independence and Rights).
Since then, humans and machines have been living together in complete peace. There are some tensions between various underground hate groups but nothing major.
CYBORGs
After the Great War there were many who were crippled needed to have parts replaced. Instead of the standard prosthetic limbs, the people of Terra had new ideas in mind. They could easily utilize the technology for robots to apply to humans. This happened and they would make limbs that were almost identical to humans.
During the Ghastoid invasion was when a big wave of cyborgs had made their way into the streets of Terra. Many lost limbs, appendages, and other parts of their bodies and would quickly get them replaced. However, it doesn't just stop at being a substitute for prosthetic limbs but also for those who want to just enhance their bodies. Robotic body modifications and additions are common throughout Terra.
ANDROIDS
Soon after the Robots gained their rights there were some who wanted to resemble humans. There were even some humans who wanted their brains implanted into a robot. These beings also being used for entertainers and service, Androids became a thing - fast. Androids are expensive to build and even a brain transfer will cost you quite a few hundred-thousand KONs to happen. Robotic androids can be given emotions coded into their programs and the humans who get their brain transferred typically enjoy the switch.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE [ A.I ]
With body modifications and body transformations, there was one that was practically impossible for the common person and that was becoming A.I. all A.I. programs are linked to the Zvee program, also known as Project 15. Though there were earlier form of A.I. in the old times of Terra when robots were given free-will, there were none like it was today as they still had their chips programmed.
As an A.I, a person or robot can live as software throughout Terra. thanks the technological breakthroughs that occurred, the land is pretty much A.I. friendly all around. However, only few scientist are allowed to conceive A.I. and only certain labs are permitted to even produce the technology to make A.I. All illegally crafted A.I. are terminated by the Terran government servers. Those who do have the means to become A.I. typically live great lives and can even acquire a robotic body.
hybRIDS
During the Ghastoid invasion these beings began to appear throughout Terra. This was rumored to be due to test that the Ghast had administrated on the people of Terra. Humans morphed with household animals and wild animals. When the invasion ended, most people had learned to live with such changes in their lives.
However, Hybrids have been reported to have always been around and just hidden. Most feared of being judged by the public eye, to be branded as monsters. When the invasion had broken out, many Hybrids had joined in the Terran elite forces to help in the fight against the Ghastoids. After the invasion had ended, the Hybrids had been accepted throughout Terra.
Aliens
Prior to the Ghastoid invasions and even before the forming of Terra, there was much talk about aliens living within the planet. For centuries there would be countless conspiracy theories and countless claims of sightings of alien beings throughout time. There were even theories stating that the aliens roamed on Earth when the planet was reforming. It was not until the Center was born that the talk of aliens ended and aliens soon began to visit; Xavier Maximus Jr. opened the door for galactic trade and immigration, Terra soon became the center for galactic unity. Escaping planets of war, wanting to live a better life, or just to start a new --- Terra was open.
When the Ghastoid's invaded ,many tensions had rose and few people had lost their trust with the aliens. Some groups even feared the aliens and found them to be threats to their everyday lives. This triggered small riots and hate crimes against the aliens. The groups that advocated such acts were punished and the Government took the stand to protect the aliens and reminded them of the rights all people had as Terrans.
METAHUMAN
Post Ghastoid invasion, the word Metahuman was given to those who had their powers brought out. With the exposure to radiation, the Meta were born. It is said that all humans have the parts inside to unlock the abilities within them. There were even word that there Meta even before the land had reformed itself.
