Magus Silva is the forest that stretches across the entire land of Magus. Silva is known as the birth place of Magus as all of its magic creatures come from Silva. Orcs, Faeries, and Elves all being from this strip of Magus. The first people of Magus didn't know how to use magic in the first years as they had worried more about surviving. One year there was a dispute between the Orcs and other people of Magus as the Orcs wanted to burn and cut down large amounts of land in Silva.
What the Orcs and Goblins did not know was that the trees are the source to the magic in Magus. The trees not being able to defend themselves, because they were trees, had given all of their magic supply to those who fought to protect Silva and that was the Elves, Faeries, and some of the Humans who lived on Magus.This fighting lasted for just about a week as large amounts of magic was constantly given to the Magus as they fought the Orcs and Goblins off into already ruined sections of the Silva. The Orcs and Goblins gave up after being pushed back but they, to this day, detest the people of Magus for thwarting their plans.
Humans were the first people of Magus and some say due to the SIlva that some humans became Elves, Faeries, and the other magical creatures of Magus. Rumors have it that the Silva did this to protect itself as the SIlva knew that the Orcs and Goblins would attack it.
