
MONSTER FIGHTS
Monsters will mostly appear and remain in one city, and that is typically where they start in. Monsters can have special conditions such as double damage, moving from cities, or high defense.Always read the Room Board for details. These are open plots, meaning anyone in the plot can decide to join you or not and you cannot be locked in, UNLIKE Boss Fights in other sub-plots.
How this works:
The monster will be a(n) NPC which means it won't attack back directly, so you will have to use attack/defense rolls to determine actions.
You can only go in with one of these methods (attack or defense) and can't change until the next reset. Repeat, YOU CANNOT SWAP BETWEEN ATTACK AND DEFENSE UNTIL A RESET.
Attacking: /choose hit, miss, graze, combo, open, double
Defending: /choose dodge, block, counter, damage, heal
Hit = 1 Hit
Combo = 2 Hit
Graze = 0.5 Hit
Miss = 1 Damage (to your HP)
Open = 1 Damage (to your HP)
Double = 1 Hit and 0.5 Damage
Dodge = 0
Counter = 0 Damage
Damage = 1 Damage (to your HP)
Block = 0.5 Damage
Heal = Restore 1 HP
In these fight,, there are many, many special conditions that can vary and be very random. In the below page, we’ll explain what some of them are.
Player Conditions:
Players by default have a few special conditions, one being a Player Multipliers. The amount of damage you can do varies on how many players are in the fight when you’re fighting it as well. Example, two players mean two times the damage; four players would be four times the damage. The other is HP restoration. HP revives for players at two points in each day: 12AM, 6AM, 6PM and 12PM EST. Players can also share HP. Any amount of your available HP can be shared.
Monster Conditions:
These can vary GREATLY from resurrection, HP restoration, and even attack boost. You should ALWAYS read the room board for the details.
MINI-BOSSES
Mini-Bosses are something you can add into your RP at any time. They are beings that would match the HP of all players involved. There is also no wait for HP restoration or Special Monster conditions for Mini-Bosses but Player Conditions do apply. You can be killed by a Mini-Boss if the player HP goes to 0 and you can decide to flee. If you do flee, the bosses HP will reset. Players that join into a(n) RP after a Mini-Boss is placed in will have their HP added to the boss. Whatever details you want to include for your Mini-Boss is entirely up to you.
Mini-Boss HP example:
5HP (Tier 10s) + 10HP (Tier 9s) = 15HP Mini-Boss
