Diist Gevildl’ is the first created castle ever in the realm, apart from all of the small and uncultured settlements who lived simple lives. The castle was built by users of mana, and was simple at first, but it was still one of the largest buildings ever made. Throughout the process, some of the bricks were enchanted, mainly  a small amount of bricks for each part of the castle. While this may seem mundane, not being able to do much, the magic stones held the entirety of the castle together, a force field being held up around it to protect it from the monsters and other evil forces. Years, decades, and eventually centuries pass as the entirety of the castle began refining, becoming more beautiful and stronger. Even the magic responded to the improvements, now becoming an aurora-like area that protects against almost anything. Even now, the castle is tended to by wizards now, maintaining the beauty and strength of the castle. The rivers that flow around the castle are incredibly mana-rich, and is used by many alchemists to make certain potions. Mainly because of it’s sheer size and magical property, this castle has been deemed the superior to the other regions, making it govern all of the other provinces to a certain extent, but giving them a lot of freedom.

Ashfall, despite all of it’s time being created and fortified, was one of the first castles to fall, mainly because of the consecutive ash storms hitting it over and over again, before it was blanketed in a thick layer of ash, covering every inch of the city. After being abandoned for so many years, the ash hardened and continued piling up, making the entirety of the city a bit more bulky in turn. As the ash storms become fewer and less severe, the city is petrified in the material, statues of civilians and animals alike throughout the town..and through some excavations of the homes, the ones who were safe from the storm are now skeletons, having wasted away from being inside, trapped and withered away from the hardened ash from their door and windows. Through a decade of excavating, a small portion of the buried city was revealed...which ended up to be a terrible mistake. The ash created by the volcano was magic based..therefore when the ash had a body, especially a living one at the time, they imbued themselves with the person, turning them into gargoyle like monsters. Throughout the entire time they were being buried, they bided their time, before they were finally free, jumping the unarmed and unprepared miners, restraining them and using their bodies to cover them in the ash, burying them for a week before unearthing the transformed bodies. The ashen monsters seem to have some sense of tactics, actually sending the miners they transformed directly back to mining, finding out more and more of the petrified people and animals. When studied from afar, it seems they live normal lives, actually playing and working for their city. Only when a non tainted person is by them is when they get hostile.

Frostmoor is the city of ice and snow, being built in the high mountains of the Snowpeak. Frostmoor’s outer walls consist of strong ice bricks, enchanted to not melt under the heat of the spell, the outcome making them a tad brittle under extreme heat, but hard and able to withstand most damage any other time. Behind the layers of ice there is a stone wall, just in case the ice were to fail. This gives the city a bit of a glass look, even though it is strong. Inside the walls of Frostmoor is simply just a normal city, the houses made up of lumber, the design of the supports actually Cyron design, having several dates sketched into it, most likely the time of building, the rest of the logs covered in ornate patterns. The main hall is only a tad bigger than the rest of the housing, simply big enough for a throne room, even that being small enough for just the throne. From being so isolated from the other regions, Their main jobs are hunting and smithing, selling them to merchants if they come up the daunting mountains, or trading meats and hides for spices and fruits from the other regions.

Telvan Arde is the city in the middle of the Or’Sero desert, having thick and tall walls to protect it from the sandstorms, the outer walls heavily weathered from centuries of being assaulted by sand, still standing strong. Of course, this is was the best option for them, the previous towns and cities having been consumed by sand. Even in the case of the city being swallowed in sand, if sand begins to fill the city up, everyone is instructed to move to the main hall, one of the largest buildings in the city, and remain there until the storm passes over, there being a large amount of rations in case the storm is severe, there also being plenty of tools for removing the sand from the city. The main business in the city is maintenance of the city, cleaning out sand from the streets, preventing it from filling up the city, even if it were to be slowly. Even though the sand is a nuisance, it is actually used for their main export: Glass. The second business is glassmaking, using assorted magic and alchemy to make stained glass, sent out to cathedrals in protective cases, also used for many of the buildings in Telvan Arde as well. Aside from sandstorm protection, the town really is like any other town, the citizens diverse. With the little farmland they have, they use if for wheat and the like, using that for their rations.

Oakgate is the main city of the forest region, Essche-elm, and is located in the heart of the forest, the walls great trees, weaves of thick roots between each tree to prevent any cracks in the defense, the only entrance a gap between trees, even then it had a large woven gate, requiring to be opened to be able to pass, done through nature magic, the roots unweaving and letting the person into the tree-based city. Through years of enchanting and growth, the city is a mass of trees, indents carved into the bark to act as ladders into the large tree houses that were above, bridges connecting a house to an expansion and the like, several lantern-like objects hanging from branches to light the shade from underneath all the trees. Even if you traversed without going up into the higher point, there are still hollowed at trees, the thicker ones, that serve as homes as well. The main hall of the city is deemed “The Sleeping Tree”, being one of the largest trees in the entirety of the forest, being a hollowed out tree, several thick layers of the wood still remaining for the ability to have different floors. Even though the tree is almost completely hollowed out, it still manages to sport bright green leaves, turning a bright golden color throughout the fall, and is able to retain the gold color throughout the winter period. Oakgate is mainly inhabited by the wood elves, evident by the designs of the homes, even the woodwork of the treehouses having ornate patterns on it for design purposes. The main job in Oakgate is hunting and farming and gathering, Trading the Pelts, Meats, and rare essence bottles for exotic spices, ores, and tools. Even though the residents of Oakwood don’t smith much, they do contain a smelter, protected by a stone building to prevent fires spreading, preferring cold-shaping their metal or using molds instead of using a forge.
